Mackeil Ispat and Forging Limited (MIFL) operates with a highly efficient and environmentally responsible heating infrastructure powered by Coal Bed Methane (CBM) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). This dual-fuel system ensures uninterrupted, clean, and controlled energy supply to all furnaces within the plant.
The LPG plant comprises twin 30-ton storage bullets, advanced vaporizers, unloading systems, and a network of pipelines supplying fuel to 11 furnaces. Complemented by automated safety and monitoring mechanisms, this system guarantees consistent combustion efficiency and operational safety.
The CBM gas station, designed for a daily supply capacity of 10,000 cubic meters, is integrated with precision pipeline connections and pressure regulation systems. This setup not only enhances energy efficiency but also supports sustainable forging operations by minimizing emissions and optimizing fuel utilization.
Together, these systems form a robust heating and reheating network that ensures uniform temperature control, process reliability, and eco-friendly operations across all forging and heat treatment processes.
